Should I use the ERC20 or BEP2 network on Binance to transfer my ETH funds to Coinbase?

I've had my ETH sitting on Binance for a few years and want to transfer it back over to Coinbase finally but I'm not sure what the difference is between the two networks and which will be safest/most compatible with Coinbase.
